Alta Badia, Italy

Alta Badia, upper part of the Val Badia or Hochabtei as it is known in local Ladin language is a ski resort in Dolomites, South Tirol, Italy. Spread between the towns of Corvara, Badia and La Valle it offers plenty of incredible ski slopes including the famous Gran Risa in La Villa that hosts one of the toughest Giant Slalom races in the FIS Wold Cup schedule. But Alta Badia is more than just about skiing. With beautiful vistas, stunning sights, fresh mountainous air and friendly and hospitable locals (speaking their Ladin language) it offers plenty of opportunities for a quality break or vacations in winter and summer time.
