Markets of Cambodia

Cambodia is full of fresh produce – from freshly picked fruit to veggies that actually taste like they should to fresh meat and fresh fish and crustaceans. Mangoes, rambutans, bananas, pineapples, jackfruit, papaya, watermelons or limes are as fresh as they get and at the same time taste incredible with the flavor that can be found only with freshly picked up fruit. And then there is the colour. The colour of spring onion or chili pepper and cucumber or bean sprouts – so vivid and inviting you have to pinch yourself simply to realize you are not dreaming. When you add all the great meat and fish and prawns also on sale there is hardly a place on earth Cambodian market cannot match for diversity or freshness of locally grown produce.
